50 Years at Busseys with Robert Webb
Not many can say that they have been at the same company for half a century, and not many can say that they have seen that same company grow & expand with the ever-changing advancements in vehicle technology. But that is exactly what Robert (Bob) Webb can say, back on the 2nd August 1972, a fresh-faced Robert Webb started his career as a commercial vehicle technician at Busseys. Throughout his time at the company, Bob has become not only a friendly face for colleagues and customers but also an employee you can rely on to get the job done and to do it well.

Fast-forward to 50 years later and we’re sitting down with him to discuss his time at the company, how technology has changed, what it was like in the workshops back then, his favourite moments, and a plethora of other items. Many of you reading this may be familiar with Bob as he now works as a driver for the company after he had to give up his technician job due to arthritis.
To show our appreciation for his long service and hard work over the years, our Managing Director, Paul Bussey, and our board of Directors presented Bob with a clock, chosen by Bob himself, and our first ever 50-year long service certificate. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Bob for sitting down to chat with us, here’s to another 50 years!
